The main goals of the module are:

  • To provide the box of tools for economic analysis of market process and competition policy. Special attention is provided to competitive concerns related to procurement management (tender design and bid rigging). The course is enriched by the discussion of a number of decisions of NCA (National Competition Authorities) and the European Commission.
  • To provide students with the most relevant microeconomic tools for both the analysis and the design public procurement processes

The students will have to answer several open questions with a short explanation (2 hours)


The exam to be studied is the material used in classroom during the lectures.

It's not possible consult the class material during the exam. Translator devices are allowed.


The exam will be held on May 22th, 2014.
