THE IMPPM DIPLOMA

Students may choose from three different diploma certificates when they successfully complete the IMPPM programme. The following details explain the differences between each document.

The IMPPM detailed certificate

This document is a detailed certificate of completion that includes the complete list of the IMPPM classes attended, the individual grades from each class and the final grade of the master programme. This detailed certificate is written in English and it is awarded free of charge to each student who successfully completes the programme; a scanned copy is typically sent to all IMPPM students by e-mail at the end of the programme. The document is signed by the Director of the IMPPM programme. The detailed certificate is not signed by a legal representative of the University of Rome Tor Vergata and therefore cannot be legalised for equivalency purposes. Students will be required to pay a small fee* to cover the cost of postage and shipping should they wish to have the original IMPPM detailed certificate shipped to their home country. This fee will be requested before students return to their home country.

The original diploma certificate

This document is a certificate of completion that indicates the list of IMPPM classes taken, the individual grades from each class and the final grade of the master programme. This detailed certificate is awarded free of charge but must be accompanied by two electronic revenue stamps of €16 each. It is written in either Italian or English and it shall be provided only to students who have made a specific request to receive this certificate following the completion of the master programme. The document is signed by a legal representative of the University of Rome Tor Vergata and can therefore be legalised and used for equivalency purposes. Students should be informed regarding the requirements for degree equivalency in their home country and duly inform the Master Secretariat if they require the Master Secretariat to provide this document. Students are required to pay an additional small fee* to cover the cost of postage and shipping, should they wish to have the original shipped to their home country. This fee will be requested before students return to their home country.

The diploma certificate on parchment

This document is a diploma certificate on parchment that confirms the completion of the IMPPM programme. This diploma certificate takes about 6 months to receive. The certificate is written in Italian, printed in large format on parchment paper and provided only to students who have made a specific request to receive this certificate following the completion of the master programme. The document is signed by the Dean of the University of Rome Tor Vergata, so it can therefore be legalised for equivalency purposes. Students should be informed regarding the requirements for degree equivalency in their home country and duly inform the Master Secretariat if they require the Master Secretariat to provide this document. Students are required to pay an additional fee* to cover the cost of postage and shipping, should they wish to have the original diploma certificate on parchment shipped to their home country. This fee will be requested before students return to their home country.

*The cost of shipping depends on whether students want their certificate to be sent through the Italian postal service or a private courier such as DHL.

Please note that students qualify to receive a final diploma certificate if they meet the following prerequisites:

  • students have submitted their Declaration of Value which indicates that their university degree enables them to enroll in the IMPPM programme;
  • students have fully paid their tuition fees, any applicable diploma fee and the shipping fee;
  • students have successfully completed all phases of the IMPPM program including: e-learning, lecture modules, internship and final dissertation.
